The future of transportation is driverless, and the partnership between Waymo, the self-driving car pioneer from Google, and Zeekr, a new premium electric car brand from China, is bringing that future closer.

Their collaboration centers around the Waymo Zeekr M-Vision, an electric minivan designed specifically for use in Waymo's Robotaxi fleet.

In 2022, Zeekr showed off its Zeekr M-Vision idea at a car show in Guangzhou. This idea helped create the CM2E. Zeekr says it was made in Sweden for giving rides, and it can drive itself mostly on its own, like when you order a taxi.
